Appreciate some opinions. Am having 2 guns built 1 x purdey rook single shot 22 hornet octagonal barrel. 1 x boss o/u 5.6 x 50 R. Both dainty small actioned guns. Hornet will be the same character as the traditional rook. Boss will be similar to the 410 o/u boss & slightly bolstered. Both will be scoped. I own 2x brand new etherington optical mildurah australia scopes. They are probably 60 years old & in perfect condition 3/4 inch tubes & 13 inches long. I like German scopes on my london guns ( if my life depended on a scope German would not be my first choice.) can any one suggest what they would use (q-d mounts will be used) in a modern European scope that would retain the beauty of line of these dainty guns. Would a European scope manufacturer build up scopes especially, I do not want illuminated recticles.
