X3 RUMs are nasty to shoot unless they weigh a ton. On my 300 WinMag, I have a 2.5-10x32 Nightforce that is as light and slim as most fixed 4 & 6X fixed powers.
VX 1 is a decent low end scope. I had a Revenge (briefly) it had so much parallax that it was unusable.
When you spend at least as much (preferably more) on optics as the rifle you are on the right track.
