Nice rifle! Brown for certain. I have NEF Pardner 12 gauge smoothbore that weighs 6 pounds 6 ounces and the recoil is very light with 3 drams of 2F black and a .678" pure lead ball. Even less recoil with a low pressure 3 dram equivalent smokeless load. I will be working up progresivly heavier loads over the next couple of weeks so I can have it ready for Iowas December deer season.
