We had a 700 tag--most of southeast Montana is in that tag number..yes, blue tongue has really put the hurt on the antelope and whitetail...heard in some areas there are groups of 35-50 in a general area of 1/4 mile..dead...

So that, and so far what looks like it has all the makings of a heavy snow winter, along with a larger than normal supply of predators...along with the fact of the largest forest fire in Montana's history (365,000 acres) last year...life does not look well for the immediate future of game in that area.
