Was quite an opening weekend of hunting.after getting our wall tent sent up we started hunting...antelope were scare (blue tongue and winter kill) and incredibly spooky..we hiked for 2 days off and on trying different plans of attack..but at the last minute something always seemed to go awry ..we spotted these two guys from over a mile away..watched were they were headed and took off hiking trying to intercept them..
To make a long story short..they were in a hay field completely in the open..we were up on a ledge to the field..but no way to get closer..Addie shot her buck at a lasered 502 yards with the 22-250..incredible shot...
After displaying that kind of shooting ability I have decided next year I am going alone...
