can someone offer me an explanation for this: my local cabelas had a C&H mauser in 375 with a 26" barrel that was incredibly slim and pointed like a shotgun. it was incredibly trim in the hands and that made it quite lively. current production rifles like the winchester and the ruger and the cz feel clunky by comparison. the C&H rifle felt more vertical through the pistol grip and the forestock versus current rifles which feel more horizontal. does this make sense?

thanks.

jeff
