I plan to run either the 300 grain Noslers or Trophy Bonded and see how it performs. Along with my 338 Win Mag, this'll be one of my bear guns. I've really liked the performance of the TBBC's - so I'll probably stick with them especially for the brownies. The action isn't the smoothest, but it's strong, and that's what we need here in SE Alaska more than anything. I just had a fairly rugged hunt on Chichagof Island with my Weatherby only to have the bolt release lever break toward the end of the hunt. The Mark X I am confident can hold up. Again, in brown bear country this is imperative.
