Sorry to hear about your friends condition. He is blessed to have a friend such as yourself to help him through his tough times.
Use the rifles as they were meant to be used. Think of your friend when you use them. When time comes, pass them and their history along to someone who will take care of them.
They look to be a very nice pair of rifles that a person could use for just about any hunting one wished to pursue.
