I gave the stock a drink of BLO and the grain improved quite alot.

I have a old Zastava Mark-X in .270. Much better finished.
It will put 5 rounds in to 3/4" @100M all day long. That rifle
sold me on the Zastavas.
I did have another in 7mm Rem Mag. That was a total piece of rubbish.
Would not group in to a side of a barn. Even after recrowning ,Glass bedding and every other trick was tryed.

ended up giving it away.
