Depends what year. Now I have read the above post, I agree.
Same as Westley and every other gun maker in the UK.

If someone walked in and ordered XYZ that came from ABC,
they would order it - and often put their name on it, Purdey included !!!

Re Churchill, highly likely considering their speciality - shotguns.

WR had most of their guns made by someone else at one point in time.

One more ting - Certain Parker Hale guns are much more desirable because they were well used in Africa and not many made, even though PH is not "up there" as an English gun maker.
