Pretty sure the jacketed would also be over 1,000fps, about the lower limit for a jacketed bullet. I expect it would work, but - I'd certainly try the cast first - then subtract about 60 to 100fps for the same load with a jacketed bullet of exactly the same weight. In my .458's the jacketed usually gave 100fps lower speeds than like-weight cast, with identical loads - but that was with loads up around max.
