The trusty .22 Magnum accounted for two of the Brown bastards today. Only took 5 shots apiece (precision shooting

) and a great big rock!

Was building a road near my house on the farm and shifted a large gravel mound.

With one of them it was hiding underneath a log so I shot it in the back a couple of times which brought the dog in to see what the excitement was about. He came running in and when told to keep away, lay down, right on the tail of the snake. A quick yank on his collar (and neck) and he was out the way. Now the head of the snake was out facing its tail and a 40 gr HP ending its days.
