Agree totally--have owned several Weatherby's...just bought another one for my significant other..in 240 Weatherby caliber..currenlty othe only one I own..none have ever shot that well especially when you consider what you pay for them...the lightweight model we just bought has a suggested retail on it of $1900. --we got ours for less but still a lot of money for a factory rifle of this quality..IMHO...I had 5 lighweights through the years in .257 Weatherby caliber..none would shoot to the accuracy I want so got rid of them all..took a Rem. titanium action, had a gunsmith put a Hart barrel on it with a HS Lighweight stock..shoots really really well and is at 7 1/2 lbs with a 4-14 Var x3 on it...shooting barnes Trples all day long at 1/2 to 3/4 inch..at 3670 fps...
