compare a 24 ga hammer gun with a modern 12/70 automatic hammerless gun and you have the difference.
obsolete cartridge(8x57I), obsolete action, fine craftsmannship and the mannlicher en block clip thats to get hard today.
ask yourself if you like to deal with this! I have a M 88 sporter but have a 24 ga hammer gun too.
