NZ Fishing - Hollyford Track

Hi

A mate and I are walking the Hollyford track in early October this year. Flying in to Big Bay along the beach to Martin's Bay and then following the Hollyford River out. Probably about 6 days and staying in the huts. For a couple of days the track follows Lake McKerrow (which flows into the sea) and we also stay at Lake Alabaster.

I am thinking of taking a 3 piece spinning rod and a small reel to try some fishing. Can anyone with knowledge of the area give me any advice on what sort of lures I should pack.
