Krags balance just fine when your in a proper shooting stance, just like any other rifle.
As far as carrying one in the field it can be a bit cumbersome just like carying my favorite
model 8 but you just hold it a bit forward from a nomal carry point.And I also would dare
anyone who has ever handled a Krag to dispute the action on a clean working Krag as being the slickest bolt action ever made ( its like glass) dispite
its downfall as a military weapon with the side mounted box..... lol
and yes this onE is 30US aka 30-40krag
