For the guys that think double rifles are out of the ordinary guys financial reach.
The 9.3 barrel set and shotgun barrel set, cost me US$1600 in Texas. With paperwork, export, freight, and import, less than A$2000 to A$2500.
A second hand Valmet/Tikka style shotgun is maybe $1100 or less. A combination rifle I have seen for $1500 which looked too much to me. New barrels or second hand barrels are often priced between $500 and $900.
So a double rifle, shotgun, or combination firearm, which is definitely not out of the reach of the ordinary guy.
