Teflon or powder?

There seems some disagreement among gun shops as to whether it is best to Teflon coat or powder coat a rifle with a stainless barrel. I need to decide for a custom big bore rifle. Any veiws or experiences - or perhaps there's something better? Would prefer satin finish, not matte. Needs to look good.
