I remember reading the tests done by DGG. IIRC, in one article the steel barrels blew at the chamber on one barrel by the steel "unfolding" and peeling upwards ?

the good thing is, plenty of our duck shooting here in Australia is done where 2.5" sheels are fine for 80 - 90% of it. Rice paddies, creeks, dam jumping, maybe over decoys on lakes.
