I chambered one up in the 80's or early 90's. I called it the 9.5x68. I wasn't aware of it being anything but a wildcat. The fellow I sold it to had Huntinton's make his a set of dies, so dies should be available from RBCS now, under the name 9.5x68.

With RWS brass it will make 2,900fps with 270gr. bullets. The capacity is only about 3gr. more than a .375H&H, but the brass is incredibly strong.

I turned the belts down to .522" on .375H&H brass, necked and trimmed. They worked fine as well after fireforming. No - they weren't dangerous.

A 'nice' calibre that is now replaced by the .375 Ruger.
