TKS Tom - I forgot about the Chamber's locks - for some odd reason. Jim's locks are wonderful, right out of the box and probably the best buys in flintlocks there are. They come tuned and faster firing than about any other production or semi-production lock. As a rule, I've had good luck with L&R & Davis locks but they do need some work, sometimes- as in annealing overly hard frizzens or springs. Jim's locks don't need any 'help' and are perfect as received.

Jim Chambers and daughter Barbie are also wonderful to deal with - I'm delighted to call them friends.
