Taylor brass cheap and easy to form, Dakota brass has one source and is expensive. However, from what I've read the 404 Dakota has a very good reputation for solid performance at low pressure.

The 416 Taylor at 2400 fps sounds "hot" to me, as I've normally seen them reported as delivering around 2150 fps with a 400 gr bullet.

However I do not have one.
