Firing pin spacing, on .410 and 28 gauge shotgun actions?
      24/05/11 03:40 AM

I have done quite a bit of conversion work, from shotgun to double rifle, after learning process from W. Ellis Brown, in gunsmithing school a number of years ago, (he later wrote book on same subject, now in 2nd edition), always using 20 ga., 12 ga. and 10 ga. mag. sized actions (10 gauge for .577 full nitro, 20 gauge for 9.3x74R, largest to smallest made), but now am considering doing two or three small calibers, maybe .22 Hornet, .303 British, etc., using small frames. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE MEASURED DISTANCE BETWEEN FIRING PIN HOLES ON A SXS .410 AND ON A 28 GAUGE?
