I have seen a Mark-X shortened so much that it was only long enough to feed .45ACP rounds,which was intended from go. would be a nice little rifle if it also had a silencer. A real fun gun IMO.

Gun world magazine ran a big write up on cut and shut mausers in the late 80s. I would love one shortened just right for a .308 win. But cost and the existance of short Brno 6oo series makes me wounder, WHY?????

I do like the leangth of the bolt handle on that 7.9x33. I think the rifle would be more user friendly if it was 7.62x39 or a 8x39 wildcat.

How do you get around the cartridge case issue/problem??????
