The 500 Jeffery is pretty much in the same class as a 500NE I suppose. A Gundealer once told me that a straight stocked Krieghoff 500 NE wasn't any worse than my Merkel .470. That lead me to belive that a 500 j with a well made stock would be just a trifle more unpleasant than my Merkel.

At what gunweigt would a 500 J start to feel like a fast .458 cal?
I'm fiering that 10lbs is a bit too light for a 500 J?
