tophet1 -- Thanks for the lead! I'll see if NECG can get me a set here in the States.

Rule303 -- I have looked at Conetrol. I can't find any photos of their "quick detach" mounts, but from their description they don't sound like they're any more "QD" than the Recknagel bases. Does anyone have a photo of them? A picture being worth 1k words...

Chapuisarmes -- that is interesting, is yours just a straight-up pivot mount that's drilled and tapped on the front bridge, or something else?

Any other options?
