I have a Kimber Talkeetna in 375H&H. I've not used it in Alaska yet, just Africa, but despite the name it didn't seem to mind. I took a PAC ele bull and then later an impala. Both with iron sights. Baboons proved a little too sharp-eyed and smart for iron sights. Or maybe just too small for my ageing eyes.

I've found it superbly reliable. Which is my basic requirement.

With my handloads and open sights I shot .69" groups at 25 yards, which was about the distance I shot my elephant. I considered that adequate for my purposes.
