Dark side inhabits my past also! There is nothing better in the morning than touching off a few 500 Nitro Cartridges.

Anyway, dilemma and decisions, what to do? Just build one of each! 416 Howell has more case capacity and therefore less chamber pressure at equivalent Taylor velocities. However, the Taylor brass is cheap and easy to make.

But the 416 Rigby lures me to the dark side also with the very large case capacity, keeping pressures reasonable at 2400 ft/sec. I have a 416 No. 6 Contour barrel and a BBK action laying in wait and the Rigby chamber reamer, dies, brass, bullets and walnut. So it is just a matter of time.
