Here are some interesting photos of another Remington-Lee chambered in .30-40 that I found on Monty Whitley's website:

.30-40 (.30 U.S.) caliber, the barrel marked "SPECIAL REMINGTON-WALKER" and marked "N.R.A." on the receiver ring. Equipped with the special "POPE" windage and elevation rear sight. Retaining nearly all of the original blue, with excellent wood and minty bore. This is the rarest of the Remington bolt match rifles. The rifle previously resided in the Jack Appel collection and was featured in the sale.
