I had a conversation with the seller this morning. Seems a long time customer showed up at the shop after we talked and wanted to buy the rifle so he sold it to him. He admits we were in the process of a deal but decided to sell it to his buddy instead. He admitted he screwed me. An honest man would have told the other guy he was next in line if the deal that was in the works fell through. At the minimum he should have called me and let me try to close the deal first. What sleazy piece of work.
