The reason the price is $690 I think is its a mil rifle, an MS sporting carbine would be more like $1600 +.

I have been looking for some of these ex-mil Steyr's etc for some time for some silly projects. Lack of a budget slows it right down however.

If it's a military rifle then someone went to a fair bit of effort replacing the trigger guard and sights.
