You can easily determine the twist rate of your rifle. Start a tight-fitting patch into the bore. Mark the cleaning rod at the breech, and make a mark on one side of the rod, near the handle. Push the rod into the bore and watch the mark near the handle. When it has made one complete revolution, stop and mark the rod again at the breech. Withdraw the rod and measure the distance between the two breech marks.
