G'Day Fella's,

TAW1126 I think you might have a viable gripe with the BRNO and CZ rimfire safety but I don't know of any other options?
I personally have a 1951 manufactured BRNO Model 1 and a 2003 manufactured CZ 452-2E (I think that's it's designation?), they both have basically the same (but different) safety and I have just become used to them over the years.
Both of these rifles will consistently put 5 shots into a group that can be covered by an Australian 5 cent coin (1/2") at 50 meters (These are one of the few rifle I can shoot without flinching like a bastard)! So when I have that kind of accuracy, I tend to ignore any other short comings in design!!!

It may be a good idea to get your children to use this rifle, just so they don't get used to one thing? They might be presented with yet another, different safety option one day and not know what to do!
Flexibility, should be every bodies best option!
