Hogs in North Carolina

Last summer my brother and I made a trip to South Carolina to hunt hogs. It was his first hog hunt, and his first hunt of any kind away from home. I was the only person to get a hog that week, and I don’t know who was more disappointed, me or my brother, Mike. This summer Mike and I made a trip to Sampson County, NC to hunt hogs on a peanut farm. After driving all day, he went out for an afternoon jaunt, and got a 200 pounder! The next morning he got another! Although I didn’t get a hog this trip, I couldn’t be more pleased.

Here’s a baby I saw the second day.
