Two Boars For Little Brother (Photostory)...

It came to Nick in a dream one night that he should purchase a Marlin 1895 in .45/70; so he did, and decided he should initiate the little beast on the NT pig population. So, up he flew for a visit, and he is currently recovering from bruised feet, and myriad tick and mozzie bites. With a late finish to the wet, we were lucky indeed to encounter these two boars, which he duly smote; in 38 kilometres of hiking, they were the only ferals seen. Nevertheless, it was simply marvellous to be out there enjoying it and suffering through some aspects. My CZ550 Safari Magnum in .416 Rigby came along for the hunt, but never got a chance to speak its mind. I hope you enjoy the photographs.
