Update on my 458. I have a friend who is a gunsmith & opened his own shop working on it. I changed my plans of using my existing rifel but instead purchased (2) new Ruget LH stainless/Laminated rifles. One mag & one standard action. I am having a pair of working guns made up. One in 458 win mag & the other in 35 whelen. I decided on SS & laminate for durability. My practical hunters

I still want a classic style walnut stocked big bore some day. Maybe I'll go with a M70 & have a 416 rem or 458 Lott made. Just to have more than anything. With teh prive of Buff hunts I'll be lucky to do that more than once or twice in my lifetime.
