Scope Mount for Merkel 140-2 .470 NE

Hello:

In a previous post I am requesting opinions on a Merkel 140-2 .470 NE; The double is pre owned so its not new; it has a front beed and in the read it has 1 fixed "V Blade" sight and 02 flip up "V Blades" the center rib that runs from the end of the barrels to the front beed of the sight has NO notches or latches or any changes in the geometry that from my perspective would allow for a scope mount.

Can a Scope we installed to it with out mayor modification? is so what kind of mount?
if the rib needs to be drilled and taped or special fabrication by a gunsmith is required, do anyone knows which is the process? and what kind of mount can it be installed?

Also will a scope work well with the regulation of this rifle?

Your help and input is very much appreciated!
