Hey ironbuck,I put a post up about sore muscles.I been thinking about getting ready also.I allways say when ever hunting season is overwith it is time to practice for next year!!!
I usually shoot all year round because I love archery & the bow,but have had to slow it down some.I think i maybe getting some artheritus??
I have been shooting year round since 1979.I have shot a Cascade takedown custom60# pull for about 14yrs.Bow still shoots just as good as the day it was born!
I think I will try 55#.Did you get a elk last season?We hunt bear,deer & hog here in Georgia.I shoot fingers,no sights,& try to be as primitive as i can get by with.I do like tree stands & camo.Shoot 125 Thunderheads mostly.Keep at your workout you will be ready & then some by the time opening day gets here!
