Hi Malcolm,

Thanks for the tip on the lock plate problem. Dad shot the gun quite a lot, but he usually used dove loads. I'm using 2.75" magnum loads for ducks, and recognize that a flaw that didn't appear for Dad may surface for me. The only problem is, I don't know anybody who can do the work. I'll have to consider doing it myself.
