It's not actually engraved, it's just a laser pattern, but I like it.

I was surprised at the niceness of the wood too. I think it's class four, out of eleven. It gets to be silly money as you get towards the top end of those numbers.

Yes, the engraving is quite nice.

I have a 375H&H with High end wood on it.
The 470 has normal wood which is still quite nice.
