I finally got one of the barrels turned, but had to change the profile as it wouldnt work with the action. And as usuall something goes wrong, this time it was my live centre that broke and the vibrations from the bearings transplanded to the barrel giving it an ugly surface.
Now this wouldnt be a problem if it wasnt the last run and i didnt dare try another run so i would end up with a to thin barrel.
But some sanding and it turned out fine.

Now, i put the barrel on a scale and it stopped at 800grams, twice that is 1,6kg, some ribs, sights etc. and i think it will be around 1,9kg.

That would mean it will stop the scale somewere under 4kg, ouch.
