Slightly off topic, or maybe going back to the topic , do any of you know who fabricated the original rising bites? Both Rigby and Bissell both used them and from what I have seen they appear to be the same action. Did Rigby make them and sell them to Bissell? Was it the other way around? Rigby-Bissell held the patent for it. I believe Rigby the company actually made them in house.

I haven't seen one with the name Bissell on it but that doesn't mean that it didn't occur !!!
