To me, the TSX appears to be softer material as well as smaller in diameter than the bore shows at the bottom of the bullet's grooves and smaller in diameter than the rifle's grooves, shown by the high areas between rifling marks. This allows material flow, almost unobstructed.

The top bullet has more shallow bands showing bore marks however the bullet itself has less bearing surface. The bullet's major diameter is smaller than the groove diameter which is a pressure reducer. Moly is a good choice for such a bullet & moly itself is a pressure reducer. Problem is, it also reduces speed - the two are connected, so loading has to be adjusted.

If I was to choose one over the other for use, it would be the TSX's for it's softer more maleable material. Also, having shot a lot of moly in other guns and come to appreciate it's strengths and weaknesses, I'd moly coat the bullets. The only weakness I have found is the need for cleaning after being shot in a chome-moly barrel. Stainless barrels can go longer without ill effects from moisture.

Since I don't have to choose one over the other, I'd shoot either if both were available but only IF the gun I had showed proper groove and bore diameter compared to the projectiles.
