Matthew, thanks for the offer, but anything even vaguely related to shooting requires multiple approvals and paperwork to get into Oz through customs. Our post office is rabidly anti-gun, and went so far as to ban all sorts of goodies from the postal system. They were eventually over-ruled by the Government on some of their worst actions, but only slightly.
A few years ago post and customs together broke some toys coming in for my kids. Their reason? The package contained some plastic beads and the girl on duty "thought they looked like they might fit in an airsoft gun." The battery powered toy tanks (freely available here in shops) were damaged, the beads were removed, and I received a letter advising me I am now on a database for attempting to import prohibited ammunition without a permit. No way to get off the database apparently, but I was told not to worry about it, unless I tried to import something else they don't like, in which case I would be in serious trouble as a repeat offender.
Airsoft guns are banned here, being weapons of mass delusion, and therefore the ammunition is prohibited, even if it is not really airsoft ammunition.
We are not able to import seriously dangerous things like empty brass 12g cases, projectiles, dummy rounds, or parts like sights or springs for guns. Given the import problems many businesses will only bring in the big sellers, so those of us who chase odd bits and pieces are a bit hard done by.
