Jerry, in that action with handloads, the round will approach .375 H&H tho if loaded to same pressures, the .375 has the edge. But regardless, the round is powerful.

As a deer round, it is superb, and doesn't need full-throttle loads for that.

You'd like it no doubt. Especially because there really are a good number of superb bullets available for it, including all the lead-core .375's if you care to resize them.
