I've tried 270gn lead GC and 30 grains of AR2207. The powder hardly fills the case and I initially used half a cotton ball as a filler (needed it to stop hangfires) and it looked like a pillow exploded everytime I fired it . I found that I could do away with filler if I used magnum primers.

Accuracy hasn't been good but my rifle prefers 300gn+ in the jacketed stuff anyway.

The recoil is somewhat less than a 308.
