Range rods.
      10/06/09 05:51 AM

Hi,

Those are my home made range rods and crown protectors.
I think the red one is fiberglass but Im not shure, It was made from a Gallagher stick (from New Zeland?). I never use the wood rod that came with my Kodiak, I have it with the rifle just in case I loose or forget the range rod.
I have read last night the "Bevel Brothers" column and they say that fiberglass rods are not that bad. In any case I always use the protectors on my rods.
My .50 underhammer have no way to fix the rod so I use exclusivelly its range rod.

Any oppinion?

Thanks
Martin
