very interesting, Ripp! Thanks for sharing. Will this be your next project rifle? These cartridges make any RUM/Weatherby/Lazzeroni/Dakota, et.al. seem very benign. Speaking of .338s, how's your coming along?
NO--not planning on any further "pet" projects for a bit..have not had time yet to get out and work with the Lapua..this is a really crazy busy time of year for me..basically until fall there are a lot of 12 to 14 hour days plus weekends..
Weather is breaking this weekend though--heading out to smoke some p-dogs, coyotes and hopefully a turkey or two...
I ordered a Nightforce 5.5-22 for the Lapua--that is not in yet either...will keep you posted on how it all comes together...
