I had a booster for my Swarovski's in 10x42's---key word there being "had"...used it one season and sold it...

Perhaps its just me--but I did not like it for many of the reasons already described...much, much rather have my spotting scope---than the booster---

With the booster and the added magnification, my experience was you pretty much needed to put them on a tripod to hold them steady enough to judge game at a long distance---field of view was not what I experience in a spotting scope either...

Again, these are "my" experiences and perhaps others may find it different...think it is handy to have along to use once in a while but IMHO, does NOT take the place of a good spotting scope..one that you will look through hours of a day spotting game at distance...
