I spent Australia Day driving from Melbourne back towards SA along the Great Ocean Road with its scenic cliffs, butte islands, and lovely seascapes. Lunch and dinner in a couple of seafood restaurants. 43 degrees celsius that day (or around that number), the same the next and close to 47 degree C (117 deg F !!!) the first day home. Six days in a row over 40 (104 F)

Was in Melbourne's Chinatown for Chinese New Year's Eve (the night before Australia Day) and enjoyed a Thai meal.
